Windmill Bore Pumps

Bore Pump

Alderdice Bore Pumps have flush caps enabling them to be lowered or raised from the bore without fouling.

The barrel is made from 3.3mm thick brass tubing, the cast components are made of Gunmetal Bronze.

The bottom cap has a nitrile faced valve. The plunger has two leather cup buckets and a solid valve (standard), a nitrile faced valve can be fitted at extra cost.

Also Nitrile Buckets are available at extra cost.

The top and bottom caps are sealed into the barrel with "O" rings.

Strokes: 8" (200mm) & 12" (300mm) - Longer to order.

Force Pump

This pump is designed for use with windmills, and is mounted above ground. It pumps water to a high level from dams, rivers or shallow wells.

The barrel is made from 3.3mm thick brass tubing, the cast components are made of Gunmetal Bronze.

Size 2 1/2" (64mm) x 8" (200mm).

Stainless Steel Bore Pump

This stainless steel flush cap pump has special long life buckets. These pump buckets have a special lip on the inside hole to prevent the buckets from spreading and jamming the pump bucket in the pump tube. This makes this pump very suitable for use on Poly-Rod column systems because it does not add to the natural stretching and rebounding of the poly column, this results in less pumping performance loss per stroke of the pump.       

In most brass bore pumps, neoprene buckets have a tendency to jam, as they must be tightened to prevent them from coming undone.

The pump buckets are nitrile rubber that is harder than the present neoprene buckets available and therefore last considerably longer.
