Foot Valve

 

Alderdice Foot Valves are made of Gunmetal Bronze. They have a nitrile faced valve giving a positive non-return seal. The barrel shaped body allows an easy flow around the valve.

Horizontal Check Valve

Alderdice Horizontal Non- Return Check Valves are made of Gunmetal Bronze. They have a well guided nitrile faced valve, fitted with a "316" stainless steel spring to give a quick closing action.

Floating (Side Outlet) Foot Valve

Alderdice Floating (Side Outlet) Foot Valves are made of Gunmetal Bronze and are an adaption of our standard foot valve, it has a side outlet threaded B.S.P. to take a pipe fitting, eliminating the need for a bend when being floated in a dam or river.

There is a hanger bar with a tee to enable the foot valve to float between two Ald-Clear Float Valve floats with stems screwed into the tee.

Flow rate discharge from the Float Valve should not exceed 230 litre per minute (3000 Gals Per Hours).

For controlling WATER ONLY no other liquids.

 

 

 

Two Level Float Valve

Alderdice "Two Level" Float Valves are made of Gunmetal Bronze. They allow a drop of 16" (400mm) in the water level of the storage tank before the valve opens, it then holds fully open until the water reaches the full level of the tank then shuts off instantaneously, so eliminating the constant stopping and starting of the pump.

They are suitable for all pressures up to 100psi (700 KPA). They are not suitable for commercial buildings or industrial use or for connecting to City/Town Water Mains Supply.

Ald-Clear Chain Operated Float Valve

For Underwater Operation.

Alderdice "Ald-Clear" Float Valves are made of Gunmetal Bronze. They have a flap type valve minimzing the chance of the valve blocking.

The 3/4", 1", and 1 1/4" sizes have an Acetal (plastic) replacable seat fitted as standard. This is to combat any corrosion of the seat due to highly aggressive water at high pressure.

For chain, use only Alderdice Stainless Steel Chain.
